You kind of figure when deadmau5 is ready to lend his name to a pair of headphones that they'll be awesome and indeed they are. The design is as amazing as the sound, and we think it could make a hipster in your life very happy.($149.95, Apple Store)
Yesterday we featured some adorable Kate Spade headphone ear muffs, and here's a more streamlined version especially cool for the menfolk. They're no only comfy and warm--the stereo headphones are built in. But you can detach the cord should you be (oddly) music-free. Plus they collapse so they can be tucked right in a pocket.

Sonos PLAY:5 Wireless Audio System
Last year we recommended the PLAY:3 sound system for Sonos, which is a pretty awesome gift on it's own, but if you want to go big, the Sonos PLAY:5 has incomparable sound. I would looove to see my child have the "Sony Kid's Headphones". My daughter is 13 and my son is 20. He keeps stealing her headphones and loses them and in turn will not let her borrow his so she is out of luck. It happens alll the time. He hides them or leaves them over a friends house so we can never get them back! I can only get those white ear buds one at walmart and they both always buy the same ones. If my daughter could receive those awesome headphones, number 1, he cannot say they are his, and number 2 they are so different, someone will know he has them or left them somewhere... but chances are he will never steal those knowing how girly they are!! Its Perfect!!!
