Turn your Instagram photos into art

I've made all sorts of amazing gifts from Instagram photos, like custom coasters even photo books from my iPhone, but I've been hesitant to try the many photo to canvas services because I'm a little worried about how the resolution will translate.

To be clear, CanvasPop will print any of your photos, whether you took them via Instagram like me or with an actual camera, onto beautiful canvas. But since I take most of my photos on Instagram, I decided to give that particular part of their service a try.

Once you decide on the size of your canvas, you'll sync up your Instagram account, pick your favorite photo, and decide on a black or white border. Then all you have to do is wait for the results to arrive.

While I was extremely pleased with the quality and the resolution, I did notice that the photo I took with a different photo app then shared through Instagram didn't turn out as clear as I would like. That's not their fault, however, just a word of advice when you're choosing photos. Another company I've used for mounting instagram photos is Bumblejax. They offer really unique options for photo mounting, like bamboo, acrylic, aluminum and gator board.
