I just got a bunk bed for my kids and was trying to figure out a good clip-on reading light that could just clip onto the sides of the bed. Have you come across anything like that? Thanks! -MaryannFunny enough Maryann, I could have written this question myself about a year ago! After much perusing and querying and reading reviews, I finally came across a great clip-on light that we're really happy with.

I bought one of these after seeing it here. The lighting in my son's room is terrible and I needed a quick fix now that he's obsessed with books. It's brilliant! He tells me how much he likes it every day, and I find him reading in his room without being prompted.
Easier, get a Nook! What I need is a mobile light for knitting I the car after dark, now that the lighted knitting needle company was bought out by one of the biggest needle conpanies who then discontinued production. Can't find anything to plug into the car dash that works.

Hi Gloria, if you need a light for the car, this one plugs into the lighter and gets great reviews: http://amzn.to/YvCmJY
Not all children are ready for Nooks (especially because they're often reading books they take home fro school but it is a great idea for adults!
I don't need a light for reading, I need one for knitting in the car after dark . I have one with a flex neck that plugs into a USB port but it is too flexible. I have the light up knitting needles but it seems they are always the wrong size that I have with me and the cost of batteries for them is insane. Trying to figure out where I could clip this thing...maybe to the slots in the heater/AC vent? Does it have a padded grip to avoid damaging the surface it is clipped to? I bought some of those USB adapters that go into the cigar lighter but they don't work in that. The other "hole" is too low although it works great for charging my phone! This might be my solution if it doesn't 't mar the surface. Help.
