I am beyond happy that smart is in fashion--for us and for our kids. (In fact, check our Cool Mom Picks back to school shopping guide for a whole category of tees that promote smarts instead of stupidity.) And while they don't make this particular design that I just found as a tee, it might be even better as a tote.

 

The US-made nerd glasses tote bag is a perfect sign of the 2012 times--and far less polarizing than wearing your presidential candidate on your shoulder. They also sell the design as a very cute slim notebook, should you suddenly come up with a revised theory of relativity and not want to forget it. That could totally happen. -Liz
