Music at the beach. Hold the sand.

As much as my kids love the beach and the pool, my husband and I tend to forgo any sort of technology for fear that our precious iPhones and music players will end up filled with sand. But after discovering these handy beach-ready speakers, we're ready to crank up the tunes while we all chill by the water.

The Beach Sounds Portable Speaker is the perfectly priced gadget for you beach lovers who'd like to take your music with you. Just pop your gadget into the foam and velcro holder inside the speaker then attach the audio jack. Once it's closed, your music will be amplified so you can listen comfortably without headphones--all while keeping your player safe from the elements.

Keep in mind that the speaker is water resistant, not waterproof, so you'll still want to keep an eye on it if you've got kids around. And while you can control the volume on the outside, you'll need to open up the speaker to mess with your playlist.
