How do people make those collages on their Instagram photos?
I've been eying up the adorable photo collages on my Instagram
feed, wondering how my fellow iPhoneographers were making them. Well, it definitely can't hurt to ask, because I got the scoop on the coolest collage app that's super easy to use.
offers you a ton of different photo collage options, allowing you to showcase more than one photo in a large square that's perfect for Instagram. I've made a bunch already, all of which just require you to tap to upload your photo into the frame of your choice, then slide to fit (or expand, depending on the photo size), and save. You can even share to Instagram directly from the app.
My only gripe is that the "tap" feature is super sensitive, so on numerous occasions, I've ended up back at my photo library when all I wanted to do was expand a photo. Of course that's a minor annoyance thanks to a simple click on the cancel button--and well worth it for a handy app that's less than a buck. -Kristen
You can purchase PicFrame for Instagram at iTunes And thanks to my favorite collage Instagramers, Marie, Ciaran, and Danielle, for the tip.
