Red tech gifts for Valentine's Day and beyond.

For some people in our lives, there is no better way to say "I love you" on Valentine's Day than with an awesome new gadget. (Of course for some people, jewelry is preferable, but for them, we have
Cool Mom Picks.)
For those gadget fans in your romantic life, here are some gorgeous red gadgets that will outlast a bouquet of red roses and trump a cheap box of chocolate any day.
If your sweetie is into music and wants to look super cool listening to it, the
Beats by Dr. Dre for Monster headphones (above) are a perfect choice. We love them for their sound quality,
built-in mic and hands-free calling features, but even better, a portion
of the profits goes straight to (PRODUCT) Red, to fight AIDS in Africa.

Any music fan will love the
Jawbone Jambox,
one of our very favorite portable speakers. It's amazing that something
that fits into the palm of your hand can emit such powerful sound. And
the fact that it connects wirelessly via Bluetooth makes it all the more
awesome. (
Amazon, $179.99)

Sometimes you just have to go big or go home. Like with a brand new laptop, in red, of course. The
Sony Vaio
is a great choice for organizing, well, everything in your life. It
comes with a 200GB hard drive, CD/DVD burner, a built-in webcam and 4.5
hours of battery life. On top of that, you also get a cute red carrying
case and a Dooney & Burke heart keychain. If that doesn't say
Valentine's Day, I don't know what does. (
Sony, $999)
If it's time to update that clunky original iPod and replace it with a much smaller, sleeker and red
Nano,
this is the perfect occasion. Especially with the free personalized
engraving option on back and the support for (PRODUCT) Red. The new version plays for an unbelievable 24
hours when fully charged and is a great little accessory for any
music-lover. (
Apple store, prices start at $129.)

Photo pros and amateurs alike will find many things to love on the
Sony Cybershot.
We love it for its portability, auto settings, and of course, photo
quality. Yes, we know you love your smartphone for taking pictures, but
if you're looking to step up the quality with a whopping 16 megapixels
and a phenomenal zoom, this camera is a great, affordable choice. (
Sony, $149)

As cool as the red Beats by Dre headphones look I can't recommend them to anyone. I owned a pair myself (not red but still) and the plastic at the top of the band snapped on me. They sound pretty good but they are really poorly designed for something that is so pricey.
