Given the amazing power of technology, it was only a matter of time before we'd be able to control our lights, our thermostat, even our garage door from smart gadgets. Well, thanks to Belkin, that time is right now. Or, very very soon.

 

Their WeMo Home Automation Solutions looks like an amazing time, money, energy, and sanity saver, allowing you to control your home lights, your fan, or whatever else you have plugged into a Home Control Switch simply by using your iPhone or iPad.

So, if you're not sure if you turned off the iron, or you want to flip the fan in your house from work because it was super hot during the day, just open the app and make the changes you need.

You can also add the Motion Sensor, which can serve not only serve as a home security device, but can also help you save money, but automatically turning off lights and gadgets when your kids leave the room. In fact, from what I can tell, the only thing it doesn't do is turn on the stove to cook dinner. Yet. -Kristen
