The Black Friday deals, promotion, and general insanity continue! This time, from a favorite on every mom's list, the Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic/Athleta/Piperlime behemoth, thanks to a new integrated social media promotion called Shop Yourself Social.

By liking this new site on Facebook or joining the Twitter conversation, you get can tips from a charming Gap advisor named Cacky Rhoades who offers decent savings tips on her blog; plus feeds on the latest store promotions, events and deals, starting with Black Friday.

Actually, starting on Thursday, when most Old Navy stores will actually be open. (Presumably for people who don't want to be with their families on Thanksgiving?) There's also a 5 grand giveaway.

It's the first time they've put all of their shops together in this way, making it pretty clever, probably helpful, and worth popping by to take a look. Especially if you're dying to know just whether you'll ever get those killer wedge boots from Piperlime for less than $300. -Jeana
