If you've ever uttered the words, "my battery is about to die if we get cut off..." then this is for you, mamas. If you don't yet know the Mophie charger, and their collection of fab products, you need to. The Juice Pack Boost is a dandy little lightweight device that powers up when you connect it to your own laptop. Just drop it in your bag for those times your iPhone is being taxed to the max and you need a super fast charge. For me, that means when I hit a conference and find myself on Twitter all day long; or I break my brand new camera (gah) on vacation and have to rely on my phone for snapshots.

So funny you should post this today. The Mophie Juice Pack I bought just came in the mail today, lol! So far, I'm loving it.
Bought it for traveling as the battery life of my iPhone 4 doesn't last the entire day.
I'm a big fan of my Mophie Juice Pack Air. I've been carrying it in my purse for years. It really reduces the stress of worrying about my battery on my phone during the day.
I have a 3GS iPhone and I recently recommended it to two of my friends who bought one new on Amazon for about $20 for their 3GS iPhones. But their juice packs couldn't hold a charge even though they were brand new. Mine is over 2 years old and works great.
So perhaps people who have a 3GS might want to wait for the iPhone 5 to get a new Mophie Juice Pack?
Great recommendation, well written!
Thanks Carolyn, great tip.
In any case, I need no more encouragement to get an iPhone 5!
$35 and the life of my iphone4 has been double. It's a hard case that protects it from my 15mos old and I can go 4 hours with 100% charge. Better than the $90 for the apple one.

Does the Mophie thing work to "trick" your phone into allowing a wifi sync (rather than being plugged in)? It seems like it should, right?
I was just about to tweet that I was getting ready to order a Mophie Juice Pack plus for my iPhone 4! I want the plus mainly because it comes with a hot pink trim. But I'm like everyone else - I use my phone for EVERYTHING, and really work my battery to the max. Can't wait to get it!
Hmm...good question Bill. It seems like it simply charges the battery as if it were plugged in. But if you have other info we'd love to know.
