DIY iPhone cases meet needlepoint awesomeness

I joke around that I don't have a crafty bone in my body when, really, I just don't seem to have the time to spend on being crafty anymore. But this awesome tech-craft mashup is enough to make me give up another hour of sleep.

 

The Connect Design DIY iPhone 4 cases bring cross-stitch into the 21st century, allowing you to design and create your own cases with the help of a needle, embroidery floss, and a slew of cool design templates.

Each iPhone case comes complete with thread, a needle, and a little instruction book, but really, the possibilities are endless thanks to the Internet and the scores of patterns you could easily find and translate onto the case. I'm stocking up now to surprise a few of my geeky friends for Christmas-- but not before I make one of my very own. -Kristen
