Thankfully, my kids are out of the Caillou stage, but I remember at one point, bracing myself, hoping they wouldn't ask to watch that show. (What a whiner!) Commercial-free kids TV for the most part is great, but I'm so glad to have another option that I actually don't mind watching right along with my kids.

So I'm not the only one who can't stand Caillou? I babysat for a little girl years ago who loved that show. After a marathon session of Caillou episodes, she became the whiner he was and made the rest of the night pretty difficult. I remember seeing the connection then and now that I have young children, I'm very mindful of the cartoons they watch.
Plus commercial free? What a blessing for parents!
