Welcome CBS Early Show viewers!

Red Rover iPhone appWe're so thrilled that you caught our Editor-in-Chief Liz Gumbinner on the Early Show this morning talking about the Babycenter.com Mobile Moms research. Or if you missed the segment, you can watch it right here.

We're the first to admit that we love our smart phones, but for good reason: They've made our lives as busy moms easier. Here are the apps that Liz recommended to help get you organized and keep your kids entertained.

This popular website now available as an app for both iPhone and Droid acts as a family organizational hub, allowing you to sync calendars with other family members, share and store photos, and even organize your grocery list.

Use your existing contact lists and GPS to make on the fly playdates and get togethers with this very smart app. It's like a mini private social network of your kids' closest friends and yours too.

Our kids are obsessed with this amazing digital book from Nosy Crow, which takes the classic well-loved story and brings it into the 21st Century with gorgeous artwork and amazing interactive features.

And if you're looking for more cool apps for moms, take a quick peek at our archives and become a subscriber! You'll get a slew of awesome picks for you and the kids, plus all sorts of gadgets and goodies to help make life easier, right in your inbox. Who couldn't use that?
